Negombo

Negombo is a lively coastal town on the west coast, just a short drive from Bandaranaike International Airport, which makes it the natural place to begin or end a Sri Lanka holiday. It is known for its long sandy beach, its fishing community and a lagoon lined with traditional outrigger boats.

Colonial history shows in the old Dutch fort and canals, and the many churches earned the town the nickname “Little Rome”. It is also home to Nimrodh Travels & Tours, so it is a friendly first stop where we can welcome you in person.
